Video: Updated Nissan GT-R caught testing

Some plucky soul at the Nurburgring Nordschleife captured this gently disguised Nissan GT-R being put through its paces a few days ago.

The car is rumoured to be a Spec M version of the upgraded 2011 car. It borrows the forged wheels and aero pack from the Spec V, but sports an updated front bumper and rear exhaust design.

There was speculation that the special edition would make its debut at last year's Tokyo show, but it never appeared. Previous Spec M versions Nissan Skylines were intended to be upmarket affairs, and included leather trim and a more compliant suspension setup for a more comfortable ride.
