Hollywood comes to Dunsfold: Top Gear snares Cruise and Diaz

Top Gear has proved itself more than capable of attracting Hollywood stars to it's Dunsfold base in the past – Andy Garcia was there just last week – but this time the BBC2 show really has hit the big time.

Talking either one of Cameron Diaz or Tom Cruise into the Reasonably Priced Car would have been considered a major coup, but getting them onto the sofa at the same time borders on the surreal.

Even the producers of the show admitted the Top Gear office had been alive with 'sweaty-palmed excitement' at the prospect of playing host to the US stars.
