Honda revamps hybrid based on customer insight

Honda has revised the specification of its Insight hybrid following criticisms of the ride comfort and interior trim quality made by customers and the media.

The manufacturer has implemented a number of chassis alterations designed to improve the ride quality of the car, including adjusting the recoil rate of the springs, changing the rear camber angles and altering the rear suspension brace and mounts.

Early customer feedback had revealed a negative response to the Insight's comfort levels - an issue already highlighed by the initial press reaction to the car.
