Privatise the road network to go green says senior MP

Britain should privatise the road network and introduce road charging to help the country meet environmental pledges, according to a senior Tory MP.

Tim Yeo, chairman of the Commons energy and climate change select committee, says that selling off the road network is "long overdue".
