Volvo aims to improve air quality with three point plan

Updated

Volvo is hoping to teach the UK's car buyers how to pick the car that produces the least poisonous gases and therefore does the least damage to air quality.

It has proposed a three-point plan to do this, and wants to start by creating a new labelling system that displays the gases other than CO2 that are produced from an exhaust. It also wants to create an iPhone application that enables car buyers to have the information with them at all times and is suggesting creating an 'Emissions Equality Think Tank' to keep air quality in peoples' minds.
