BMW releases details of the new X3

The new BMW X3 will be the cleanest and most efficient four-wheel drive car in its sector, according to the German manufacturer.

It should be capable of doing around 50mpg, and keep emissions down to 147g/km for the automatic 2.0-litre diesel – a drop of 31g/km over the outgoing model.
