Peugeot announces hot 308 GT

Peugeot will be making a hot version of the 308 hatchback that will get a 200bhp engine it has borrowed from the company's sports car, the RCZ.

The 308 GT THP 200 is being launched to celebrate Peugeot's 200th anniversary and moves the family car towards hot hatch territory for the first time – although the manufacturer's UK division has declined to give the model the GTI badge it will receive in Europe.
