Live from the launch: Volkswagen Sharan

Autoblog UK is off to drive something that might seem a bit sensible today – the new Volkswagen Sharan. But despite it being a sensible people carrier, we are quite intrigued about the MPV.

The reason being that the first generation has been on sale practically unchanged since 1995 and also formed the basis of the almost identical Seat Alhambra and the similar but not quite so identikit Ford Galaxy.

Volkswagen has had plenty of time to revamp the old favourite, so we're hoping for good things on all fronts.
