Goodwood's Moving Motor Show reopens after accident
The inaugural Goodwood Moving Motor Show has reopened this afternoon following an accident involving a Honda Civic Type R Mugen.
The incident occurred at 12.40pm when the driver of the exclusive Civic lost consciousness while behind the wheel of the car in the show's Ride and Drive hall.
A spokesperson for the event confirmed that four people had been injured when the rare hot hatch left the Honda stand, drove across a pedestrian walk way and through the Jaguar stand before crashing into the wall of the exhibition building.
None of the four had to be taken to hospital, but all were treated on site for minor injuries.
The emergency services closed the hall for around two hours after the accident. Organisers were said to have been concerned about the structural integrity of the building following the crash, but the Ride and Drive element of the event has since reopened.
