Travel agents mis-sell travel insurance

Consumer group Which? says travel agents sell unsuitable travel insurance policies and offer poor value for money. Its researchers visited 29 travel agents and were rarely asked the right questions or told the cover on offer.

I bet insurers and brokers would be rubbish at offering package holidays too. It just goes to show why you should buy insurance from an expert insurance broker and why travel agents need regulation so tough they cease this mis-selling. Better still: ban them outright.
