Video: Eagle-eyed bus driver saves baby sat in middle of road

It's an image to send shivers down the spine of any parent - a baby sat in the middle of a busy road at night.

Fortunately for this fugitive little tyke the driver of the bus bearing down on her semi-naked form was not texting on his phone or reading a book (as we've seen recently) and managed to pull up in time.

The terrifying moment was caught on CCTV as it unfolded last year, but the footage has only come to light now that the baby's parents are engaged in a custody battle.
