Live from the launch: Toyota Auris Hybrid

We're in Barcelona getting acquainted with the latest of what Toyota says will eventually be a long list of hybrids – the Auris.

The manufacturer says it intends to equip every one of its cars with hybrid technology over the coming decade, so we expect to be on a fair few events like this in time to come, but it may well be that most of the cars will bear a fair degree of similarity to today's subject.

The Auris hybrid is much like its Prius sibling – a bit dull, quite worthy and promises outstanding fuel economy and emissions figures if you behave yourself behind the wheel.
