Video: Nissan GTR and Lexus LFA go head to head in drag race

Updated

The Nissan GTR is already firmly established as one of the decade's giant killers – a technological titan of a supercar and yours for just £60k. It is undoubtedly one of the most accelerative cars Autoblog UK has ever driven, but there are limits to the black magic that can be weaved by that 485bhp 3.8-litre V6 engine under the bonnet.

For example, there's no way on earth that it should be capable of competing with Lexus's new LFA. The Japanese bullet boasts a 4.8-litre V10 engine developing 552bhp and has the might of Toyota's engineering division behind it. It also features a £336,000 price tag.
