There's something comforting in the fact that no matter how much money manufacturers plough into the design and build of supercars there will always be someone with dirty fingernails somewhere prepared to make the thing go a whole lot faster.

These people usually live in the North East of England or America's southern states – the Underground Racing team that built this twin turbocharged Lamborghini Gallardo hail from Charlotte, North Carolina.

Of course the side effect of endowing your Superleggera with over 1000bhp is the 'lively' handling you encounter above 200mph. Just look what happens when the owner tries to stop his pride and joy at the end of the runway.
