Mercedes G-Class set to return to the UK

Thanks to a vociferous cult following Mercedes has decided to bring the G-Class back to the UK after a ten year absence.

The exclusive SUV had previously only been available to import as a left-hand drive model, but the UK will now welcome an official right-hand drive version back onto the road.

Like the Land Rover Defender, the G-Class (or G-Wagen as it's more commonly known) has retained the same robust design it started with in 1979, but despite some serious off-road ability, the car is far more likely to be seen on city streets than the countryside.
