Breathed-on Audi TT breaks cover

Updated

Audi has revealed the latest version of its ubiquitous TT to the waiting world.

Believe it or not the popular sports coupe has been given a minor facelift, but you'd be forgiven for not spotting the difference. Audi's design team has contented itself with inconspicuous polishing; the front bumper has been restyled to frame larger air inlets, there's a bigger diffuser at the rear, and slight changes to the lights. That's about it.

Underneath the tinkered-with body, Audi has introduced a new 2.0-litre TFSI petrol engine to the range. Developing 208bhp and 258lb ft of torque, the engine is capable of propelling the TT to 62mph in just 5.6 seconds if it's twinned with the dual-clutch S-tronic transmission and the manufacturer's all-wheel-drive Quattro system.
