Blind man sets new speed record

A Turkish pop singer has set a new land-speed record by driving at 181mph in a Ferrari F430 at an airport in Turkey.

Nothing special you say? Well what makes it a record is the fact that Metin Senturk is blind, and he did the record-breaking run unaccompanied.

He was followed by former rally driver Volkan Isik, who gave him instructions through an earpiece. Senturk comfortably broke the former record of 176mph. Check out the video above.
