Mercedes reveals new R-Class crossover

The new Mercedes R-Class has been revealed at the New York International Auto Show.

The revised crossover has been treated to a completely redesigned front end which takes its influence from both Mercedes saloon and SUV models.

The car's extensive restyling should help the manufacturer to market the R-Class in the UK after its dour predecessor struggled to attract buyers.
