Autobots recruit Ferrari 458 Italia

Just in case the prospect of seeing Megan Fox on the big screen wasn't enough to get you to the local multiplex for Transformers 3, the franchise has recruited a new Autobot in the shape of the Ferrari 458 Italia.

Director Michael Bay confirmed that the Italian supercar would feature in the new film during a visit to a Ferrari charity event this week.

The Transformers' franchise had previously kept its automotive cast exclusively American – making a film star of the Chevrolet Camaro in the process.
