Porsche has finally made hybrids seem very cool indeed, as we get our first real look at what the firm's latest models look like on track.
Porsche appears to be pushing forward with plans for more hybrid models as shown with the stunning 918 Spyder Concept we saw at the Geneva Motor show, which also uses hybrid technology combining a traditional combustion engine with an electric motor.
The GT3 meanwhile uses a 480hp 4.0-litre flat six coupled to two electric motors driving the front wheels. This car is currently a
rolling laboratory for Porsche, and is rumoured to form the basis of a 24 Hours Le Mans version for 2012.
