LEAF falls on the North-East

It looks increasingly likely Nissan's Sunderland plant will build the marque's new electric LEAF car, Autoblog understands.

In an interview with industry title Car Dealer Magazine, Nissan's UK managing director Paul Willcox said a decision on where it would be built would be made in the 'next few days'.

But it was his knowing smile when pressed on how confident he was that Sunderland would get the nod that really gave the game away.
