On video: Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible
This is Bentley's new Supersports Convertible that was launched in Geneva and billed as the fastest drop-top Bentley has ever built. Powered by a 621bhp twin-turbocharged W12 engine, the four-seat Continental is capable of 0-60mph in 3.9secs and 202mph.
The car gets numerous advancements over the GTC model, including a faster shifting dual-clutch transmission, an advanced ESP system, carbon-ceramic brakes and, most importantly, an overall weight saving of 90kg.
As the US will be a major export market for the Supersports, Bentley will add FuelFlex capability by June this year, which will allow the car to run on the ethanol biofuel widely avaliable in America.
