Suzi Perry quits MotoGP coverage

Updated

Suzi Perry has announced that she is quitting as the face of the BBC's MotoGP coverage to focus on other commitments.

The popular trackside presenter, who has been part of the MotoGP paddock since 1997, told Motorcycle News she "agonised" over the decision to leave but that the "constant travel was taking a strain."

Suzi has been the face of motorcycle racing for years but her commitments to Five's programme, 'The Gadget Show' along with other projects have forced her to hang up her pit pass. She will not renew her MotoGP contract after the 2010 season.
