Lexus compact hybrid to debut at Geneva

Updated

Lexus has revealed this teaser shot of its new premium compact car, which will compete with the Audi A3 and BMW 1 Series and is due to make its debut in production form at the Geneva Motor Show.

It's called the CT 200h and, although these early pictures don't reveal much detail, it is expected to borrow much of its design from the LF-Ch concept unveiled six months ago.

The CT200h will be a full hybrid model using Lexus' second generation hybrid drive technology and will have an all-electric mode.

"It will offer new levels of refinement, sophistication and attention to detail, without compromising style or driving pleasure," says the Japanese luxury firm.
