Hyundai releases teaser shot of new Mondeo rival

Hyundai has given the first indication of how it will cope when the government takes away its £2,000 scrappage scheme by revealing a concept that will become the firm's Ford Mondeo rival.

At the moment all we have is a teaser shot in the form of a sketch, but Hyundai says we should see an official picture before it unveils the real thing at the Geneva motor show next month.

Showing that Hyundai is now taking Europe very seriously as a market for its cars, the i-flow was designed at the brand's European headquarters in Russelsheim in Germany.
