Ferrari reveals 2010 F1 car

Updated

Ferrari has unveiled the car it says will take the brand back to Formula One glory. The new 2010 car, the F10, broke cover at the team's base in Maranello, Italy.

With a more aggressive design, the F10 has a similar front wing to that of last year's Red Bull car, whilst the side pods are a unique shape; designed to maximise airflow.

It will be driven by Spanish double world champion Fernando Alonso, and Brazilian Felipe Massa, who will return to his F1 seat for the first time since his life-threatening crash during qualifying for last year's Hungarian Grand Prix.

Felipe Massa will be the first driver to try out the car at Ferrari's private test facility Fiorano later this afternoon.
