Video: Audi R8 Spyder

Just in case we weren't already drooling in anticipation at the arrival of the R8 Spyder, Audi has released a glossy promotional video to flaunt their stunning new drop-top supercar.

The Spyder gets the same 518bhp 5.2-litre V10 and all-wheel drive system as the regular R8, and will be Audi's most expensive model ever when it eventually goes on sale – the manual costs £111,955 while the R-tronic is £117,155.

As the drop-top only weighs just 100kg more than the coupe, Audi claim the 0-60mph times are identical – and both cars should still make it to around a 195mph top speed.
