Maserati takes to the London Boat Show

Updated

In the absence of a British motor show this year, Italian supercar manufacturer Maserati is displaying two of its cars at the London boat show from 8 to 17 January.

A Quattroporte S and a GranTurismo S will both feature on the stand, thanks to the company's partnership with Ventura UK, who import Ferretti yachts.

The decision to display the two cars at the Excel in East London could signal one of two things. Either the Italian brand is outraged at the lack of a British motor show and is determined to reach out to its UK buyers at the Excel come what may. Alternatively, it could be that the firm is hoping that the sort of people who are interested in yachts with six and seven figure price tags might have a spare £90,000 for a new car.
