MINI Coopers are rubbish

Did you use last weekend to throw out your tree and put your decorations back in the attic? Did you enjoy a trip to the nearby tip to get rid of rubbish? Or did you wait till dark to dump your empty boxes on the side of the road (not that we want to encourage flytipping, of course!)?

Well, it looks like the Dutch went for the latter and the citizens of Amsterdam were surprised to find discarded MINI Cooper giant cardboard boxes littering their streets with wrapping paper still attached, as if some people found them neatly tucked under their tree.

MINI's marketing stunt closely follows the Fiat campaign that had bikini-clad girls cavorting around the Amsterdam Christmas market. Those crazy Dutch...
