Cadillac CTS-V Coupe breaks cover

Cadillac is expanding its high performance CTS-V range with this, the new CTS-V Coupe, which will make its debut at the Detroit Auto Show next week.

The CTS coupe debuted in production form at the recent LA Motor Show, Detroit seeing the unveiling of this high performance version. The only major mechanical difference compared to the CTS-V saloon is a rear track that's an inch wider, while the coupe's two-door body is marginally lighter.

It's V8 engine will produce a mighty impressive 556hp, which can be channeled through a choice of manual or automatic six-speed transmissions. There's no word yet on whether it will make it to the UK.
