Glastonbury covers a really diverse range of musical genres. Although generally it tends towards contemporary rock bands, you can also find dance, reggae, world music, electronic and folk. There is a fairly hippie vibe and you'll find that the average Glasto festival goer is a very friendly and chilled out person.

This year the weather seems promising but this is England after all so if you're going, don't forget your wellies. Recent Glastonburys have been washouts with music fans writhing in pools of mud - but still having the time of their lives!

This years lineup again reflects the diverse nature of the festival. From Lady Gaga to Bjorn Again, Kasabian to the London Community Gospel Choir, there are so many acts and stages that you're bound to find something you enjoy. If you fancy a break from the music, there's a cinema screen, kids area, art installations, massages, theatre and circus acts. You certainly won't get bored, but you might get tired.
