Last night, the first episode of the new Big Brother series erupted on our screens. In its tenth year, the show is still going strong and this year's crop of 16 housemates are as weird and freaky as ever.
The contestants are not yet officially housemates and until the final decision is made as to who will be housemates on Sunday, they must all wear a special 'non-housemate' uniform and give up all their own clothes to Big Brother.
Among the contestants are girly-girl Noirin, single mum Saffia, Oxford graduate Freddie, former Mr Gay UK contestant Charlie, 25-year-old virgin Sree, bi-sexual Brazilian Rodrigo, breast-enhanced Sophie, window fitter Marcus, small and tough Sophia, former asylum seeker Beinazir, 18-year-old student Cairon, Russian boxer Angel, former model Kris, events organiser Siavash, former High Street Honey Karly and 41-year-old punky Lisa.
