Ford Focus RS: Last of its series?

A Ford source has said that the Focus RS could be the last of its kind. It is not supposed to be the last RS, but the last of this type. But maybe it's just a trick to drive perfectly respectable sales figures even higher?

The Focus RS has a dedicated fan base, and not without reason. A front-wheel drive compact with over 300bhp could be arguably said to be so over-powered that it would just jump forward and bury its nose in the ground. But this beefy Ford gets away with it and it really is so much more than a cocky decibel generator. In its performance category, the viper from Cologne is a top bargain with its price of just 34,000 euros.
