Next weekend (10-11 January 09) Autosport International, the world's biggest motorsport show, provides a perfect start to the season with the NEC Birmingham filled with exciting cars, drivers and motorsport personalities.

A star-studded line-up of visitors have been invited from the world of Formula 1 as well as many other forms of motorsport. Formula One's top British scoring driver David Coulthard has already confirmed his attendance during both weekend days. Also confirmed are Allan McNish, Susie Stoddart, Anthony Davidson, Tom Kristensen, Paul di Resta and many more.

One of the best ways to experience the thrill of motorsport is at the now-legendary Live Action Arena, which features a raft of improvements for 2009 and an even more spectacular range of demonstrations, as well as some breathtaking wheel-to-wheel racing. With some great competitions and extravagant stunts, is one of the event highlights.

The Show will be celebrating 50 years since the first British Formula 1 Champion Mike Hawthorn won the title in 1958 on 8-11 January 2009. And not forgetting the F1 Racing grid, which displays all the cars from the 2008 season, including the championship-winning McLaren MP4-23.
