The Flatmobile

There are some cars that almost aren't there at all. This ultra-flat one-off creation is the lowest-profile vehicle permitted on road. The Flatmobile is just 48.26 centimetres in height – not including driver, of course.

The car was built by British constructor Perry Watkins using two Hillman Imps as the basis. Watkins certainly hasn't spared any expense on the jet engine which takes the Flatmobile up to a top speed of 100mph – sounds like a breezy ride.
