Facelifts: Toyota Aygo / Peugeot 107

Updated

Following the facelift to the Citroen C1 which is no secret any more, information is now available about the concurrent models Toyota Aygo and Peugeot 107.

As was already the case with the 107 and Aygo, it was just the front bumpers and the easily-replaceable rear lights that were given a change to keep the costs down.

The Japanese mini now takes its bow with a clearly more sporty appearance, featuring strongly emphasised air inlets in the front apron as well as internal trim in stepped colours. The rear lights were also given a makeover and have more of a quality appearance with reflectors framed by chrome rings.

Chrome was also on the agenda when the 107 was given it facelift. The air inlet at the front now looks larger and has been decorated with a chrome strip to reflect the trend.

The prices remain unchanged and with the two stragglers, the completely facelifted trio should now be perfectly good for another three years.
