GT by Citron - Swimming Pixels

Updated

I have to admit that I have a dependency. A virus has entered my system that regularly affects Playstation aficionados. I am a 'Gran Turismo' junkie and certainly not the only one by any stretch.
Gran Turismo is not just any run-of-the-mill computer game. No way - it's THE driving simulation game for the Sony Playstation!

For this reason alone, it's become important for manufacturers to make an appearance on the Gran Turismo platform, thus sowing the seeds of interest in good time with a future customer base that is generally quite young.
Citroën went one step further and realised what had once been a virtual racing car from the next version of Gran Turismo.
The GTbyCitroën looks so breathtaking that any proud erstwhile R8 owner would quietly and meekly crawl into a corner.

According to Citroën, this sleek flatfish will be driven by 4 wheel-hub motors, pushing out 644 HP (thus qualifying for the unofficial Environment award at this year's Paris fair.
Powerful downforce is provided by an adjustable rear spoiler (too large in my opinion). The ultimate high-performance wheels for a drooling public.

It's a shame that this truly is only the stuff that dreams are made of. In reality, we'll never get to drive it, but fortunately we do have Playstation.
