Crowds Gather For Massive 'Boardwalk Empire' Set Explosion

Description:An explosion rocked the Atlantic City boardwalk -- a television movie set version of it, that is. The production crew of the HBO series "Boardwalk Empire," which is shot in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, blew up a set Thursday night. The fieryand smoky blast, which ignited at about 10:41 p.m., could be seen from surrounding neighborhoods. The FDNY and the NYPD were on hand to monitor the controlled explosion. (1:17)
