Fancy a free holiday to New Zealand? A Wellington company is offering 100 jobseekers free flights and accommodation - but you'll need to attend interviews while you're there.

The 100 potential candidates are being offered the 'career trip of a lifetime' and those who make it through the application process will attend pre-arranged interviews in the capital with leading tech firms.

There'll also be social engagements and exploration along with the interviews, running from 8 to 11 May.

The recruitment drive is part of a LookSee Wellington programme, and sees the government and local tech companies teaming up to look for software developers, creative directors, and product managers and analysts, reports The Sun.

According to the Telegraph, the advert reads: "Wellington is the South Pacific's tech and innovation capital, bubbling with innovative tech companies developing leading edge solutions and exporting them to the world. Our tech industry is flying along and we need more people," the advert says.

"So we're bringing 100 of the best people we can find to fill 100 great tech jobs right here in Wellington. It'll be four days of pre-arranged job interviews, meet-ups and exploration, with all flights and accommodation paid for.

"At the end of the week there'll be offers to jobs you never knew existed in a place with a lifestyle you never thought possible."

Whilst flights and accommodation are covered, candidates will need to make sure they can cover the cost of their food and entertainment.

According to news.com.au, to apply, you create a profile on the LookSee website, answer some questions and upload your resume.

Participating companies then nominate which applicants they are interested in interviewing in person, and the 100 applicants with the most nominations will then be offered a trip.

'Lookseers' are required to meet potential employers who expressed and interest but can also take in the city's culture. The advert reads: "There'll be social and optional events that we'd encourage you to participate in to make the most of your time in the city and to get a feel for what it'd be like to live here. But there'll also be plenty of time to roam and do your own thing — we want you to have a genuine 'looksee' for yourself."

And what's to love about Wellington? Quite a lot, apparently. The advert reads: "Loads! Wellington is famously labelled "the coolest little capital in the world", and is known for its buzzing coffee and craft beer, active outdoor lifestyle, and vibrant arts scene."
