However, it was Bram Stoker's novel Dracula that cemented the legendary tale.
Applicants are being asked to imagine what they'd say to Dracula if they met him.
The winners will get a dinner of chicken paprikash, the same food that's eaten in the novel.
And that's not all. You'll also have the opportunity to sleep in a velvet-trimmed coffin too, just like the famous Count.
This will be the first time someone has slept in the fortress in 70 years.
Your host for the night will be someone who knows the tale better than most: Dacre Stoker, the legendary author's great grandnephew.
The listing states: "Dacre Stoker, Bram Stoker's great grandnephew, will answer your knock on the castle's imposing wooden doors.
"He will be your host for the night, and resident expert on Transylvanian lore."
"You may traipse through all 57 rooms, from lofty tower lookouts to deep dark crypts, and even enjoy an incomparable view of the Carpathians from the terrace as the sun makes its final descent.
"But once darkness comes, retreat inside. Unexpected guests have been known to come knocking in the moonlit hours."
Do you dare enter the competition to win the chance to spend a night at one of the spookiest properties in the world?
