Win! A short break for two in the New Forest

THIS COMPETITION HAS NOW CLOSED

Burley Manor, a brand new, yet very old restaurant and boutique rooms in the New Forest National Park has recently undergone a stylish £1.8 million transformation. To celebrate, we're giving you the chance to win a two-night stay with breakfast at the luxury venue.

The Grade II listed building has been re-imagined with heritage fabrics and colours in its new drawing room, bar-lounge and dining area, where guests can either sit in the cosy, wood-panelled room or in the airy conservatory, overlooking the adjacent Red Deer sanctuary and the rolling hills of the New Forest.

Offering a grown-ups-only escape, overnight guests will enjoy bedrooms designed to feel like home - decorated in a similar style with strong, soothing colours, antique furniture, quirky, eclectic artwork and luxurious beds.

The new menu is no less interesting. Many of the dishes on Burley Manor's seasonal menu are cooked in the wood-fired stone-bake oven and reflect the classic flavours and tastes of the Mediterranean, all made from the best of British produce, sourced from the forest and beyond.

Choose from dishes including crispy salt cod baccala, braised lamb shank with rosemary polenta or Provencal beef daube with sage dumplings, followed by fig and almond tart, chocolate and rum fondue, or stone-baked rice pudding with prunes and coconut.

Or enjoy a feast of Afternoon Tapas with champagne – Burley Manor's alternative to traditional afternoon tea. Four dishes, selected especially for you by chef, will be served with artisan breads of the day and a glass of Perrier-Jouët champagne each.

And the wine choice is just as amazing, with Burley Manor's sommelier on hand to help guests decide the best tipple to enjoy with their meal; Pouilly Fuisse La Croix Vieilles Vignes Denogent perhaps, or Stellenrust Chenin Blanc perhaps – all can be ordered by the 1/3 carafe so guests can sample anything, even a £90 bottle.

Burley Manor is ideal for exploring the New Forest National Park - stretching from the south coast right across Hampshire, with 90,000 acres of ancient forest, moors, heathland, those famous ponies and a spectacular coastline.
Each season gives a new reason to stay. Spring brings bluebells; there are beaches and waterfront bars for the summer; autumn sees the forest transformed into a riot of auburn and gold; and in winter crunch through beautiful, frosty trails, then return to the warmth of a comfy chair and a roaring log fire.

For your chance to win a short break at Burley Manor, submit your details in the form below before 6 April 2016.
