Rooms at this elegant hotel, the former home of Napoleon Bonaparte's grandnephew, boast commanding views of the Eiffel Tower and the River Seine, and the hotel is home to its own Michelin starred restaurant to boot. Prices start at around £770 per night.

Hotel le Bristol

This opulent boutique hotel, Oscar Wilde's final home, is nestled on Paris' Left Bank. This place is much more than a fin-de-siècle relic: there's with an underground pool, a Michelin starred restaurant and a bar beloved of the French capital's style set. Rooms from £256 per night.
