Pilot bravely lands plane on its belly after landing gear fails (video)
A pilot who performed a belly landing at an airport in Australia after the landing gear of a Cessna 2-10 walked away unscathed.
The incident at Wagga Wagga Airport was filmed and footage showed the light plane making a smooth descent before it landed on its belly.

Pilot Rusty Crane set out from Naracoorte but was diverted to Wagga Wagga when his gear failed to deploy properly.
Emergency services called to Wagga Wagga Airport today. Quality skills displayed by the pilot resulted in no one being injured.

Speaking to Yahoo!, he said: "[It's known to be a good reliable plane, a safe plane. I can't disagree. I'm still here."
On the Wagga Wagga LAC-NSW Police Force's Facebook page, the video of the landing was shared with the caption: "Emergency services called to Wagga Wagga Airport today. Quality skills displayed by the pilot resulted in no one being injured."
One social media wrote: "Congratulations to the pilot. Don't think this could have gone any smoother considering the mechanical circumstances. Very skilled."
Another said: "Perfect landing under those conditions. Well done."
