We've teamed up with Pride of Britain Hotels to offer you the chance to win a break for two at The Priory in Dorset.

The winner and their guest will enjoy an overnight stay in a mini-suite with dinner followed by full English breakfast the next morning.

Standing in over four acres of carefully and lovingly cultivated English cottage gardens on the banks of the river Frome, The Priory boasts an idyllic location where peace and tranquillity prevail. Wareham is a quiet town and the hotel is in a tranquil corner with superb views of the river, valley and hills beyond.

The building's history stretches back 1,300 years. For five hundred years there were monks in residence and before that it was a convent of nuns. Today, it is a wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion, with 18 luxury ensuite bedrooms, from romantic suites opening on to the river, to smaller (but no less romantic) bedrooms overlooking the gardens. Accommodation is available in the main house and in the hotel's boathouse.

For a picture-perfect view over The Main Lawn, River Frome and countryside, relax at the River Terrace. It is a lovely setting in the summer to spend time with family and friends. Breakfast and lunch are served al fresco-style on fine, sunny days, as are light snacks, morning coffee and afternoon tea. At sunset, pre-dinner aperitifs are available with dainty, home-made canapés.

The Garden room is a traditional room dominated by two tall mullioned windows and a large, open fireplace. It is soothingly decorated in a palette of sage green and offers guests an extensive breakfast menu and a la carte lunch menu.

Meanwhile, Abbots Cellar Restaurant offers a fine dining experience to savour. Intimate candle-lit tables dressed with crisp white linen, silver tableware and delicate glassware makes every evening feel like a special occasion. A huge selection of wines is available to complement the subtle and inspired blend of English, European and International dishes.

Guests can also enjoy coffee or afternoon tea in the Drawing Room, with its country house interior and feature stone fireplace, as well as a small piano. French doors open on to The River Terrace and Main Lawn, which slopes gently down to the river's edge.

For your chance to win a break for two at The Priory, submit your details in the form below before 16 February 2016.
