Sylvester Stallone's California mansion on sale for £3 million

Action hero Sylvester Stallone has put his knockout (sorry) mansion on the market for $4.2m (£2.83m).

The Rocky star has thrown in the towel on his Mediterranean-style crib in La Quinta, California.

Situated in the Madison Club, a plush golf course, Sly's stunning property is spread over 5,173 square-feet and includes half-an-acre of land.

The four-bedroom abode comes with four bathrooms and has a tropical swimming pool and spa.

Built in 2008, the property features Feng Shui furnishings, grand fires places and wood ceilings.

Stallone and wife, Jennifer Flavin, bought the estate in 2010 and previously listed it in 2012 for a higher price of $4.5m (£3.04m).
