But a traveller has snapped a picture of a man taking things one step further, sitting next to a suitcase that had an enormous picture of himself on the front, so as not to confuse people.

We first saw the image on the Mirror, but it was originally uploaded to Imgur and referenced the fact the man looks a little different to his suitcase pic with the title: "The best way to never lose luggage... Is also a shrine to your former self."

One Imgur user joked: "Finally, some luggage I can really see myself using."

A number of people seemed more perplexed by the man's decision to wear white socks with sandals. One wrote: "Anyone else's eyes go straight to the socks 'n sandals before noticing the luggage?"

Another said: "Or put 'I wear socks with sandals, so you won't find any stylish items in this suitcase.' on a piece of duct tape, and tape it on."

So, will you be using this surefire way never to lose you luggage again tactic? Let us know below.
