Packing for your holidays can be the most exciting part of the lead up to getting away but it can also be pretty stressful if you're not too sure of the best way to do it.

Should you have shoes in the same bag as clothes? How do you keep track of all those wires and cables we now need? Find out how you can deal with these problems and more with these handy tips!

1. Always remember to roll up your tshirts and shirt, it saves space and it will also prevent creases and wrinkles forming while they're in the suitcase.

2. Attaching straws to the chains of your necklaces and bracelets will keep your jewellery untangled and easy to separate.

3. For men travelling with suit shirts or women with blouses, coil your belt up and pop it inside the collar of your shirts. Not only does it save space but it also protects your collar from being misshapen or bent.

4. Rushing around trying to pack everything last minute while you're still getting ready? This probably means that appliances like curling irons and straighteners will still be warm by the time you come to packing them. The best way to stop this damaging the rest of your luggage is to wrap an oven glove around them!

5. Now we rely on more and more technology on a day to day basis, it all has to come on holiday with us too. But keeping track of all the wires and cables can be a nightmare. Coil them up and then pop them in a spare glasses case to have them all in one space!

6. Need to pack a razor but you've lost the blade guard? Use a binder clip on the sharp end to prevent rips and tears or any nasty scrapes.

7. Stop grubby shoes ruining your holiday wardrobe by wrapping a shower cap around the bottom.
