A truck driver has braved an extremely precarious road that would jangle the nerves of even the hardiest of men.

The motorist is seen trying to deliver goods to a new hydropower plant in the Himalayas on a watery mountain track that barely passes for a road.

The lorry tipples on to two wheels at one point, before the driver manages to right it and speeds off.

The video was uploaded to LiveLeak, though we first spotted it at the Mirror, along with the caption: "A new Hydropower plant was to be established and for that, tools and machineries were to be transported to one of the most remote part of the Himalayas."

A number of comments were left under the video, including: "The word "road" is used very loosely here."

And a host of people joked about the adidas sign on the side of the truck, with one saying: "The first shipment of RUN DMC wear has finally arrived."

Another laughed: "That's why sneakers cost $8,000 there", while another mused: "Hope the tennis shoes arrived okay."
