Cheapest ski resorts in the world 2015/2016
Skiing and snowboarding are the most popular winter sports and ski holidays are often the highlight of many people's year - but they can cost the earth.
Thankfully for snow fans, the 2015 - 2016 season proves to be one of the cheapest in recent years thanks to the strong status of the pound at the moment.

Travel money experts FAIRFX have put together a list of the most expensive and the cheapest ski resorts across the world for the upcoming season.
In this year's rankings, the Czech Republic, Slovenia and Hungary are revealed as the cheapest places to strap on your skis and hit the slopes.

For many Brits, France is the go-to option when thinking about where to take their skiing holiday, but our neighbours across the Channel don't even feature in the top 20 cheapest ski resorts. The cheapest resort in France is Alpe D'Huez, in 23rd place, where a week's skiing will cost you £367.

Italy and Germany have fared slightly better in this year's list. The German resort of Winterburg has made it to number 9, with a weekly cost of £286 and the Italian resort of Milky Way Ski Area is in at number 17, costing £330 a week.

At the other end of the scale, FAIRFX have also taken into consideration the most expensive ski resorts in the world, with the USA and Canada dominating the top ten.
The American resort of Breckenridge tops the list for most expensive location which isn't surprising given a week's skiing will cost you £1,075. European resorts only feature twice in this top ten, and both can be found in Switzerland.
Zermatt comes in fourth place, costing £804 for a week, while Saas Fee rounds out the list in tenth with a week on the slopes setting you back £605.
