The world famous Mona Lisa painting has topped the list of artworks people would pay to see.

Leonardo Da Vinci's famous portrait hangs in The Louvre in Paris where fans have to pay €13.60 to set eyes on it.

The Mona Lisa, (also known as La Gioconda) is thought to have been painted in the early 1500s and is believed to be a portrait of Lisa Gherardini.

In a survey conducted by Myoffers.co.uk, people were asked which painting they would be most likely to pay to see.

Vincent Van Gogh's 'The Starry Night' came in second place and Edvard Munch's 'The Scream' made up the top three in third place.
